Banking Microfinance Conference Has Been Postponed

PlaNet Finance, the China Banking Association, and Harbin Bank have announced that the conference on banking microfinance, originally scheduled for October 28-29, 2009 with the title of “The Global Experience Conference 2009: The Contribution of Banking Microfinance to Financial Inclusion,” has been postponed to the spring of 2010. This groundbreaking event will encourage and outline how and why banks and the private sector can create financial services that suit the needs of underfinanced entrepreneurs and small companies, and also discuss the related regulatory issues. The new date is currently under discussion; further details will be provided on our website at a later date.
